What Locations Do You Service?

Rockaway National is proud to serve all 50 States in the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska. We also provide services for Canadian customers, as well.

What is R2 & ISO Certified?

Rockaway National is proud to be an R2 & ISO Certified recycler to ensure our procedures and process of recycling your sensitive materials like electronics. Our process and procedures provide our customers peace of mind by responsibly, securely and safely recycling your electronic materials to their end of life. Any and all data will be permanently destroyed.

If you are looking to scrap items like servers, hard drives, computers, or other electronic items our team is qualifed to handle them properly.

We can provide the required paperwork and resources during the recycling process. A Certificate of destruction for your records is part of our process to further ensure your materials were handled properly.

How Do We Get Paid or Invoiced?

When you are arranging to move your materials or recycle equipment, Rockaway National will look at a number of costs and prices that are fair for everyone. Typically, there are several costs associated with pickup services like transportation, towing, mechanic work, processing, and more.

Getting Paid

If we have agreed on a rebate for the materials we are buying, payment will be sent when jobs are completed. If you warrant us to send an invoice, that will be provided along with payment options, such as wire transfer, credit card, etc.

Getting Invoiced

If the services provided warrant us to send an invoice, we will be able to provide a digital copy for your records along with online payment options via wire transfer or credit card.

How Do You Handle Packaged Equipment?

Your account manager here at Rockaway National will ask you specifics and most likely request pictures of the packaging your equipment or materials are in. We can also provide the right documentation and instructions on how to properly package your materials like batteries, gaylord boxes, and 55-gallon drums.

What Is The Turnaround Time?

This really depends on several factors, including the work required to move your equipment or materials, your schedule, the travel time, the processing requirements, payment requirements, and other things. Generally, please allow 2-3 business days from the date of the request for services to be performed.  Factors such as scheduling, availability, the complexity of the job, and the weather are all things that could affect this timetable, amongst other things.

Our national program has been operating and growing aggressively since 2012, but we have been in scrap since 1977.
