What Is The Turnaround Time?

This really depends on several factors, including the work required to move your equipment or materials, your schedule, the travel time, the processing requirements, payment requirements, and other things. Generally, please allow 2-3 business days from the date of the request for services to be performed.  Factors such as scheduling, availability, the complexity of the job, and the weather are all things that could affect this timetable, amongst other things.

What Does An Account Manager Do?

The system of scrap, load, and logistics management allows you to be able to know what is going on and when it is happening. Your account manager is dedicated to your company and will see it through from beginning to end. 

You do not have to deal with someone that promises things that they delay on- our team tells you what we are doing and then we continue to follow up every step of the way. We will keep you informed every step of the way and will aim to meet or exceed your deadlines and expectations. We do no make promises that we don’t intend on keeping and we make sure the job gets handled correctly and in a timely fashion.

Can You Provide Regular Services?

Yes. Rockaway National is structured so that we can be your regular solution to all your scrap metal recycling needs.

Your company will be assigned an account manager, who can provide you dedicated service and after familiarizing with your company and it’s needs can provide scheduling as frequently as needed allowing each of your jobs to run efficiently and smoothly.

We are able to continually drop off dumpsters at your job sites or your locations. We also can arrange live-load pickups at your location when services are needed. Our easy and convenient system allows us to follow up before, during, and after our services are being performed.

Can You Price Our Scrap?

If you are looking for pricing for your materials before we arrange our services with you, we can easily do that by receiving a full breakdown of the equipment or material that you are looking to scrap by providing measurements, weights, and photos or sending us a sample which will allow us to observe and dissect the material involved.  This is helpful in determining the type of metals and non-metals that will be included.

Also, we may request a sample of the material you are looking to recycle so we can dissect and view the material ourselves. This will be helpful in determining the type of metals and non-metals that will be involved.

Have Old Equipment To Scrap?

Rockaway National specializes in transporting and recycling Old Equipment like backhoes, excavators, factory equipment, forklifts, and other machinery that is no longer needed.

Our account reps work directly with your site contacts and coordinate the trucking, hauling, and recycling of equipment all on your old equipment for scrap.

We can provide the necessary (or required) paperwork or Certificates of Destruction (COD) needed for the proper disposal and recycling process.
